Reconsideration of Materials
All materials in the MVM Library have been selected for their quality, appeal, and educational value. If a member of the community feels an item is inappropriate the following steps should take place:

- A meeting should be arranged with the complainant along with the school principal and library media specialist.
- If the member is not satisfied with the results of the meeting, he or she should be given a "Request for Reconsideration of Instructional Materials" form (see below).
- Staff should review the complaint and make a recommendation to the Associate Superintendent
- The Associate Superintendent will make a determination and if it is deemed necessary, he or she will recommend removal of the material to the Superintendent.
